Education is a powerful tool for shaping a promising future.
Despite the government’s claims of free primary and secondary education, the reality is different, making it difficult for vulnerable children to access schooling.
In partnership with Friends of Kenya Switzerland, we support deserving children by linking them with sponsorship programs, allowing them to pursue quality education. We believe that talented children have boundless potential when given the opportunity.
For children facing intellectual challenges, we offer pathways to develop practical skills that empower them to improve their lives.
Our Program Activities
1. Education Sponsorship
Just as the sunrise brings light to the world, a strong educational foundation illuminates a child’s path to success. We strive to ensure that vulnerable children have the chance to pursue education to the highest levels.
2. Vocational Training & Skills Transfer
Recognizing that not all young people excel academically, we provide support for vulnerable children and youth who may not thrive in traditional educational settings. We equip them with vocational training, enabling them to become self-reliant and contribute to national development.
3. READ-A-THON
This initiative promotes a love of reading among children, with a focus on encouraging privileged children to read while helping vulnerable peers access online educational resources. Through this program, children learn empathy from a young age, and vulnerable children become active participants in their own education by reading books. This process installs in them a sense of self-reliance and dignity, teaching them the value of earning what they need, rather than relying solely on assistance.
